Convent JV Volleyball moments before their win against Urban. This was the second of three games played for homecoming today, the others being Frosh-Soph and Varsity.

Volleyball closes spirit week

Freshman Leila Sawicki poses in dress uniform. All students grades 2-12 wore dress uniform to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

Rallying in style

Senior Sofia Tobiason showcases her anything but a backpack vessel. Students brought a wide variety of items to school to hold their belongings, that ranged from totes to suitcases.

Bye bye backpacks

Sophomores Lila Pollak and Emilia Lutz showcase their spirit day outfits. Students are allowed to be out of dress code as long as their outfits correlate with the theme.

Fourth of July spirit day

Freshmen Audrey Furtney, Annabelle Braun, Kokobe Foust, and Annabelle Carr dress up in pajamas for spirit day.

Sailing into Spirit Week

Convent & Stuart Hall seniors share where they will be attending college through a new Instagram account created by senior Samantha Calvin — who dedicated the page to seniors’ college decisions. College acceptance Instagram accounts have become increasingly popular over the past few years and can raise awareness about smaller, less popular schools as well as contributing to the spirit of bigger, more selective schools.

Seniors next steps

The floats are currently being displayed in the Gallery at Broadway. The Macys Thanksgiving Day Float Parade, which the competition was based off of, began in 1924.

Parade floats on Broadway

The cast and crew of ‘Broadway on Broadway’ created a trailer to attract a wider audience, and can be found on @sacredsf on Instagram. The show featured songs like “You’ll Be Back” from Hamilton and “Do You Hear the People Sing” from Les Miserables.

‘Broadway on Broadway’ opens

Crowd members raise their hands to try and distract the opposing team while they shoot free throws. While Stuart Hall players took free throw shots, the crowd held out their hands and wiggled their fingers sending “good vibes” to the team.

Loss motivates Knights for next season

Sophomore Isabelle Thiara braids junior Grace Boudreau’s hair adding red and blue ribbon, the team’s colors. The Syufy Theatre was filled with the Knight’s colors and spirit before the game, as almost all students have some sort of accent in their hair, on their face or around their body.
