Over the past two weeks, the Golden State Warriors have officially started their season. With four wins and two losses, the Warriors are off to a great start, and Stephen Curry is leading the way. Every game, he has been averaging in about 30-40 points a game, either taking the victory or losing closely in a tight game.
In today’s game, the Golden State Warriors played the Milwaukee Bucks and lost by ten points. Stephen Curry scored 27, Jonathan Kuminga scored 24, and Jimmy Butler scored 23 points. They brought the game to a very close loss. However, everyone is waiting for the brother of Stephen Curry, Seth Curry, to join the team. He has already signed the contract yet there were complications with documents, therefore he is expected to join the team by November.
“I like watching the Warriors games, I watch them every night, making sure not to miss a game,” said ethics and religion teacher Clint Hackenburg. “I love to watch them,”
Not only are the Warriors working hard this season so far, they have a secret surprise on the way. Stephen Curry’s brother, Seth Curry, is planned to join the team around November. According to the NBA, Seth Curry will add mind and talent to the team by becoming a “plug and play” and deep-shooting specialist. The Warriors are expecting him, just as much as his curious fans are.
“I like to go watch with my dad, we have been going for many years together,” said sophomore Laela Koenigsberg. “I hope that Seth Curry will be a good addition to the team and bring the Warriors to victory.”
Seth Curry and Steph Curry are said to be the new “Splash Brothers” after Stephen Curry was separated from his fellow Warriors teammate and friend, Clay Thompson. Seth is said to be a good addition to the Warriors according to the NBA website. Therefore, the Warriors are looking forward to an interesting season with an unpredictable outcome.
“I look forward to the nights where I get to watch the Warriors play and root for them to win,” ethics teacher Clint Hackenberg said. “They always have my heart.”
