The CSH/SHHS production of Cabaret follows the stories of writer Clifford Bradshaw (senior Christian Gherke), cabaret dancer Sally Bowles (senior Lauren Arnold), boarding house owner Fraulein Schneider (junior Maddie Kelley) and Jewish grocer Herr Schultz (Tanner Bragg) during the rise of the Nazi regime in Berlin. The plot of the play centers around the Kit Kat Klub, and is narrated by the nightclub’s Emcee (junior Caitlin Martin.) Performances continue in Syufy Theatre on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
