The community shares which items have been helping them get through seven weeks (and counting) of staying at home
Sheltering in place isn’t easy, but Amazon, DoorDash and tech devices make staying home and maintaining social distancing easier than it was for San Franciscans during the Spanish Influenza pandemic of 1918.
Show the community the 12 items that are important to you during this unprecedented time by creating your own flat lay and emailing the JPG to us from your school account. Be sure to add a few sentences about why you chose the items.
"My mask is essential because anytime I go out of the house I wanna stay safe and healthy. Besides washing your hands and [using] sanitizer masks are one of the best ways. Both my paint brushes and pallet knives are important and essential things for me because painting is a way for me to relax and meditate when I am stressed out, which is important when you are stuck inside for the majority of the day. The envelopes [have] been a way to keep in contact with friends and a fun activity to keep up with. I have a book on meditation and meditative exercises because I feel like that is important to practice and have the right headspace while isolated from friends."
